So who's who at The Knoll
Jen Meads set the business up almost 12 years ago. Before that, she worked as a training consultant in London. Jen's background was in catering and hospitality and she's always had a passion for food and the Lakes. The Knoll was the perfect combination! Jen is also the Chef in between all the other spinning plates!
Denise Hyde manages front of House with Jen and housekeeping with Karen. Denise's background has also been in the hosptiality industry before coming to the Knoll to work with big sister Jen. Denise's after dinner chat and humour here is legendry.
Karen Robb is our part time housekeeper and manages to keep us all in order. Her dry wit and local knowledge are a fearsome combination. She does a mean hospital corner. Cheryl Bell abley assists in both housekeeping and in the production of some of the fabulous soft furnishings in our Hotel.
Alison Luke in between teaching, also works with us here supporting us in both housekeeping and Front of House and Helen Snowball makes up the team in assisting Jen in the kitchen either to give her a break or to assist when we're busy.
In addition to our main team, we have a number of wonderful people who are often in and around the Knoll helping and supporting our efforts.
